Build strategies that build trust – in and outside the business
The bridge between client and agency, you are a natural leader and relationship builder. In close partnership with clients and colleagues alike, you diagnose the problem, set the direction, build the team, and lead the project from start to finish. By combining deep domain expertise with a true appreciation for clients and their needs, you transform complex business challenges into strategic and commercial success – for client and agency.
Own relationships and set the direction
Accounts and their outcomes are yours to manage and grow. That means you have full oversight of and responsibility for all aspects of account strategy and management – everything from advising prospects on how to develop marketing strategies, through to writing debriefs, writing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Creative Briefs, to overseeing final deliverables, and reviewing and reporting commercial outcomes. And so as much as you’re strategic, you’re also extremely hands-on and leave nothing to chance.
Be part of a multi-disciplinary international team
We know the value and importance of teamwork and collaboration as much as you do. The team is split between Shanghai, Singapore, and Hong Kong. And agency capabilities are shared across locations, so you’ll be working closely with colleagues virtually and in person. You report into the Head of Client Services but will also be teamed up with the Shanghai General Manager to drive business direction and support the development of junior members of the team.
Who you are
This is a senior role so a minimum of 5+ years marketing and communications agency experience is a must. In that time, you’ve built solid fundamentals in project management and marketing, and developed subject matter expertise in digital, social, and marketing topics.
Naturally you’ve got a passion for brand-driven communications and creativity. You have client-facing experience and know how to manage accounts and grow business effectively. But it’s your mastery of Mandarin—and fluency in English—that enables you to inspire confidence with your thinking and build trust wherever you go.
