Senior Account Manager

What you do
You make complicated stuff simple. A natural born relationship builder, you’ll be an integral part of your client’s projects, understanding how their world works and the challenges they face. As their daily point of contact you’ll be the source of strategic advice and practical wisdom on how to make plans a reality. You’ll interpret their challenges into clear, actionable briefs and work with strategists, creatives, researchers and technologists to come up with solutions.
From start to finish, you’ll be accountable for your projects’ progress and all aspects of project management: writing statement of works, calculating cost proposals, tracking, measuring and constantly striving to improve project efficiency and profitability. You’ll be multi-tasking several projects at a time, so it keeps things pretty varied. One morning you could be drafting projects plans, in the afternoon at a client’s office taking a brief, the next day you might be figuring out a client’s requirements with developers or briefing your creative team on a new project.
Who you are
You are multilingual in Mandarin and English but your native language is persuasion. Articulate, empathetic and highly collaborative, you instinctively “get” people and know how to find common ground and create consensus to reach your goals. Building on 4 years+ agency experience or similar, you’re freakishly organised and sweat the small stuff. It can be a steep learning curve at times, getting your head around different industries—especially ours if you don’t know about it already—but your natural curiosity and resourcefulness enable you to adapt your working style to get the job done with agility and grace.
What we offer
Salary and benefits are decent. You get to work in a fancy office with a bunch of people you might even consider spending time with outside of work. And we’re outcome-oriented, so you get a relatively high level of autonomy and freedom to manage your work. But really, it’s being able to point at projects and client successes and say “I made that happen” that’s the real reward.
