15 years ago, our industry was called ‘Recruitment Advertising’. It was all about creating and placing job ads in newspapers and magazines, and then cashing in on the commission from media. It was a great business model back then.
15 years ago, advertising agencies strongly believed that the Internet would NEVER replace newspapers and magazines… the Internet would NEVER replace TV and Radio commercials… the Internet was JUST a hype. So they thought…
15 years ago, four guys in the ‘lowlands’ thought differently. They firmly believed that the Internet would drastically change the media landscape. It would also give agencies possibilities they had only ever dreamed of. It was time to turn those dreams into reality.
So 15 years ago, these four guys started a new agency – Maximum.
Back then, there were over 15 competitors and clients weren’t ready for the changes. We were the new kid on the block.
Today, that new kid on the block proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary.
Today, that new kid on the block is the largest agency in the Netherlands, the leading agency in our niche industry in China, and the leading employment marketing and communication network in APAC.
Today, we celebrate our 15th anniversary by spreading our wings once again and opening an office in Dubai.
Reaching 15 is the achievement of everyone that has worked at Maximum and all of our friends and colleagues who have shared their talent and passion with us since 16th September 1999.
